See Retirement Clearly
Welcome! I am embarking on my regret-free retirement journey. You are invited to walk with me. Goals for this blog:
Share what I learn as I research how to create a satisfying retirement
Serve as a resource for my website: Help at least one person every day. If the need arises, organize and summarize this work into a book or course. So, why am I blogging? This blog serves as a space to organize what I learn and experience as I prepare to retire. Sharing my findings is my way of offering information that may help you to create your Retirement without Regrets. What to Expect? Expect two types of blogs. On Tuesdays, we post Evergreen blogs with information that will always be relevant to retirement. Thursdays, we post Topical blogs that will answer community requests or discuss changes that affect retirement. Who am I writing for? Folks like me—getting ready to retire. If you're not ready to retire, I suggest this content can also benefit you. It can give you knowledge to get ahead by making some smart decisions now while time's on your side! Want to get involved? Your voice matters. Engage through comments and emails. Your experiences and insights can help me and others. My Motivation and Mindset: I am preparing to retire and know some of the choices I am facing will have a big impact on my future. I do not want to look back and regret the choices I am now making. I need help. I worked with financial advisors, while helpful, they focused on money. Retirement is more than money. I need an understanding of retirement that extends beyond money. Searching the web, I found pieces of information, but did not find a place that put these puzzle pieces together into the complete retirement picture. I decided to dig into learning about retirement. I gathered information from credible sources. I combined that information with my experiences from engineering and teaching to develop a method to give me the big picture and also the details of my retirement. I used and refined this system into the No Regrets Method. About Me
